Been on Shopify for a year now. Onboarding was smooth, the interface is fine.
But honestly we're starting to question the choice. EU VAT handling is a mess without a paid app, multi-currency display is basic, and every time we need something slightly custom we either pay for an app or call a developer.
We're shipping to Italy, France and Germany, the "international" features don't really hold up.
Not a bad platform if you stay simple, but for us it's becoming more of a workaround machine than an actual solution.
