Would give SHOPIFY and AFFIRM a 0 for refunding monies, I would!!! They say dispute with seller company. Then if you don't get any type of resolution before the 130 days, then you are money lost or credit unworthiness to them. Had several successful buys, but if you are looking g to them to get your money back, it will be a mess!!! Orders totaling almost $500 I didn't receive but yet they don't want to give e up the monies. It's not fair to the buyer to deal with ALL this BS from these companies. Affirm and Shopify, yes you are a company also to be put in that category
Shopify denies you the right to contract with outside POD producers like Printify, who offers live rate shipping in their app. Shopify instead interferes with that contract, by refusing to allow printify to offer you live rate options in their app, without you paying extortionary subscription fees, and additional monthly fees, just to use a 3rd party app's service they offer to other providers, like bigcommerce, woocommerce etc. I would not set up a store with shopify. It's complete extortion to force someone to pay shopify, in order to enjoy their right from a 3rd party.
company allows fake / scam sites
They allow people to set up a site advertising good which are low in price / photos taken from there original proper site , then advertise them as say 50% off they take your money an you get nothing . there are hundreds of these shops popping up on instagram / facebook and ALL are from this platform . how do they allow this to happen and continue over and over
This is a SCAM. They took my money but refused to pay the vendor. I am out $360.00 with nothing to show for it. I plan to talk to a lawyer about suing. Do not do business with this thief. If you are a victim, let me know. A class action suit will get us more money.
I ordered and paid for 8 pillows ( 4 packs of 2) of Goose feather and Down through Shopify from 4Btex. The pillows were supposed to be hotel grade. I received only half my order and the pillows are 3cm thick, substandard and not fit for purpose. I contacted Shopify who told me to contact 4Brex…I tried to contact the company on more than 20 occasions and have received neither the balance of the order or a full or partial refund. Shopify have told me to contact the company and at the moment 3 weeks in I am still going around in circles and am £111 down….DON’T USE this company to buy from..if you have a problem you’ve lost your money and have nobody to speak to to retrieve it for shoddy or undelivered goods!
Shocking customer service. Changed bank accounts due to a closed account and sent 3 nearly 4 weeks of takings to the wrong account and we haven’t had any money now for over 3 weeks. Literally bankrupting a company for mishandling and lies!
Don't trust Shopify I have 30 minutes trying to talk to someone and nothing. I bought some Bite dreams gummy and I NEVER GOT MY PACKAGE THEY TOOK MY MONEY. So I'm trying to see what happened and I don't know who to talk. Be careful with your MONEY.
Shopify deceived us repeatedly. It has dhokhebaj cunning exploitation partners like webwaves stodios , dropdash who runs CoD fake companies as distribiters and supplies common customers fake supplies all over india, they are partners in shopify in drop shipping , they destroyed several business 2 times and they made all frauds very hiddenly, at last this highly exploitation centre terminated the site finally , an experience that all indian suffers so badlyafter every 3 months .
That is why we always tell that shopify has been running fraud centers, scamms centers , most of it's partners are very cunning or deceivers , Be away from shopify deceiver partners they are world's greatest deceiver , never join them.
Take action on them now and never join these groups, they run parallel PoS centers give fake ads , take ownership of your store , even domain name transfer they will not do in your name , total exploitation of your site , gets your site reported , make duplicate orders , cancels your own orders and supplies duplicate orders , they are the worst gangs of corruption running in entire world, supplies plastic and fake materials to customers. Beware of fake partners in thousand inside shopify. Never get attaracted to them , they are daemons of today,99 % return they create by fake orders , then to genuine orders , they never deliver right products by suppliers. It has been worst experience of suffering in Shopify. Hence I have to write very honest sufferings that I had in shopify. At last these buggers will shut down your store and all efforts will go waste. Never get exploited by Shopify or its suppliers or partners. They are worlds biggest exploiters .
Magnific business model, they don't need customer support, the company is already so massive that runs itself...don't care about customers, they have plenty of them with juice profits...will take a while to have a good competitor, save the hassle and accept what they offer or start searching for something similar even not so perfect to get out of them.
Terrible customer support experience and broken billing process
I opened a Shopify store after seeing their advertising, reviewed the platform, and closed the store the same day. The store was never used - no activity, no setup, no traffic, nothing.
Months later, I discovered that Shopify had been charging me for six months for this closed, unused store.
When I contacted support, things got worse. I was repeatedly transferred between departments. Each time, support agents said they would “fix the issue” or “contact another department” and that someone would follow up by email.
By email, I was told the opposite: that the account was created long ago and was already closed, so they could not access it or help with it.
This created an endless loop:
Support says they can’t close or fix the account because it’s already closed
Another department says they can’t act because the account is closed
Meanwhile, Shopify continues charging for that same closed account
Over and over again. No resolution. No accountability. No clear owner of the issue.
This is by far the worst customer service experience I’ve had with any web service in my entire life. A closed account that “cannot be accessed” should never be able to continue billing a customer, and support should not trap users in circular, contradictory explanations.
Completely unacceptable.
