In their last email, the representative suggested I request a chargeback from my credit card company because they couldn't process the refund themselves, citing an unconvincing reason. It seems odd for a company to suggest this since it's typically the customer's responsibility. I suspected it was just another delay tactic since I was past the usual timeframe for chargebacks.
