I had been transitioning my greys for over 2 years and was invited to a 60th birthday party. After seeing a few adverts, I thought I'd try this 'new' semi hair dye which stated it washes out 6-8 weeks.....Perfect! When I eventually received it (took forever), I was excited to try this new semi dye. I did like the overall colour, it didn't cover much of my greys, but it did give me a more even colour all over. My biggest shock? I realised months later IT IS PERMANENT. It specifically states, temporary cover - and after several emails (and no replies), I was back to square one, having to transition my greys again!! 2 1/2 years down the drain. 0 stars for customer service, -5 stars for after sales service, -5 stars for false advertising, 2 stars for a nice colour.
ABSOLUTELY AWFUL! A HAZARDOUS PRODUCT! I am incredibly upset. The hair dye from this company is by far the worst product I have ever encountered. It claims to be chemical-free and safe, which is utterly misleading. The instant it made contact with my scalp, I felt intense burning. The instructions absurdly suggest applying it to hands and lathering. Are they serious? Following these directions left my hands stained a deep black. I've tried washing them with soap, shampoo, scrubs, even acetone—and the stains persist! Having used various hair dyes for years, I've never faced such issues. I've never had staining or scalp irritation before—this level of discomfort is simply unacceptable for a product advertised as gentle. This isn't just a poor-quality product; it feels unsafe. I can't comprehend how it remains on the market. It is misleading, irresponsible, and frankly, seems like a scam. I am extremely let down, genuinely shocked, and worried for anyone else who tries this. I seldom leave negative reviews, but the truth needs to be shared.
Do NOT purchase this product. Steer clear of it at all costs! If you care about your skin, scalp, or overall well-being, stay away from this hair dye. Companies that put out dangerous items like this should face consequences and be removed from shelves immediately.
ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE! A TOTAL NIGHTMARE AND A HAZARDOUS ITEM! I am incredibly upset. This hair dye is without a doubt the worst I've ever encountered. It claims to be free of harmful chemicals and ammonia, but that is utterly misleading. The moment it touched my scalp, I felt intense burning, not just a slight irritation! The instructions even instruct you to apply it to your hands, which has left them stained completely black. I've tried everything to remove the stains—soap, shampoo, scrubs, even acetone—and nothing has worked! I've used hair dyes for years without ever experiencing such issues. For a product that promotes being gentle and safe, this is outrageous. It feels unsafe and should not be available for sale. It's misleading and irresponsible. I am extremely let down and genuinely worried for anyone else who tries this. I seldom write negative reviews, but this needs to be known. DO NOT purchase this product. Stay far away if you care about your skin and well-being. Companies that sell such dangerous products should face consequences and be removed from the market immediately.
Very dissatisfied with this 'hair dye shampoo.' It left my hair dry and straw-like, and I saw no change in color; it didn't cover my greys, even after following the recommended application time! I bought it on a buy one get one free deal, choosing dark brown for myself for a natural look, while my daughter opted for purple. She also found it made her hair dry and straw-like, leading her to apply a lot of conditioner on her next wash to restore moisture (which I had to do too, along with using a hair serum). Clearly, I won't be buying this product again!
I was eager to use this product as it seemed superior to box dye. Application was easy, though it didn't always dispense dye properly, leading to some disappointment. The dark brown dye covered my grey hair but left an orange tint that wasn't appealing and not what I expected. I will not be purchasing it again.
I purchased dark brown and black brown! Luckily, the black brown worked out because the lighter shade turned out to be ginger! I've dyed my long hair twice, and it feels depleted already! It colors well and lasts for about three washes, but it doesn't save money compared to regular dye. I still need to wear gloves since it stained my clear gel nails dark brown. Plus, it can stain your skin if you’re not careful!
While the results were acceptable, I had to wait up to 25 minutes for the dark brown to set. The worst part was mixing the color. Even after shaking, only clear gel came out. I tried leaving the bottle upside down and shaking it for 10 minutes, but it still only produced a smear of brown. The first bottle was fine, but the next three only had a slight hint of dye. It took me over 20 minutes just to mix it, plus 25 minutes for the color to develop. Using a traditional home dye is quicker and yields better results, plus it’s cheaper. I won’t be buying this again!
