I will never go back to ShopRite. They sell vegetables at twice the price of the farmer’s market in New Providence — and the quality is the same. On top of that, they often charge more at the register than the price shown in the store. I’ve noticed this several times. This time, when I mentioned it to the cashier, she told me to go to customer service to fix it — meaning I had to stand in another line just to correct a few dollars. This isn’t a random mistake; it feels like a systematic error. When I told her that the mistakes always seem to be in the store’s favor, she confidently said, “That’s the way it should be,” clearly knowing the store would support her rather than hold her accountable.
