The company accepted the return, and I sent the item back, but only after they received it did they change their stance and refuse a refund, even though I disclosed the fault from the start. The communication has been slow and inconsistent, with repeated requests for more photos despite having already provided sufficient evidence. The resolution offered was inadequate and did not comply with consumer laws regarding faulty products when the fault isn't due to misuse. This process has taken weeks and has been unnecessarily stressful. Accepting a return and then refusing it after the item is back with them is unfair and misleading. I would strongly advise others to think carefully before purchasing, especially for event wear where quality and reliability are crucial. Customer service and after-sales support were severely lacking.
