I've bought from Sierra Pet Meds for the past 6 years and have always received great service and good products. I normally buy Nexgard Spectra for dogs which covers heartworms, intestinal parasites, fleas and ticks. I can get it for about 1/3 the price it would cost at my vet or any place like Chewy for just the product alone PLUS I'd have to take each dog in for an exam and probably a heartworm test before they would prescribe the meds. That alone would be another $100+ per animal.But let me address the most common complaints I've seen on here. Delivery time: Your items are being shipped from overseas. Don't expect it in 2 days like you're ordering from Amazon. During covid, I had to wait 2 months to get but normally it's 2-3 weeks so plan accordingly.Fleas: I see so many people talking about their product not getting rid of fleas. The most likely reason is your house is infested and needs to be treated and maybe your yard too. At any given time only about 5% of fleas are on your pet, the other 95% are in your carpet, bedding, furniture. So while the animal is treated, the fleas are hopping around and even on your pet and possibly making it look like your pet is still infested.Import surcharge: You're buying a product shipped from overseas. Don't blame Sierra Pet Meds for something your government is doing. SPM is not charging you the Duties, your elected officials make those rules.
