You must have a cell phone with you at all times, which defeats the purpose (I could just call 911, right?), and I need to continually recharge the battery. The company did send me a new device after confirming that the first one sent to me was not functioning properly. They could improve the website by explaining what all the different colors mean. I had a difficult time to connect the second one because of the difficulty in operating the buttons and understanding the different colors and sounds the device was making. I don't have full confidence in the device.
