I would strongly advise AGAINST PURCHASING a smart door lock from Simpled. The company makes false claims about its product's compatibility with different types of doors "These solutions make smart access to any door possible. Simpled Smart locks are designed with all door types in mind ". (This should be illegal, I will contact Amazon as well)I bought a Simpled smart lock under the assumption that it would work with any door, but it turns out it only works with PVC, aluminium, and balcony-type doors with lift-to-lock mortice. When I tried to install the lock on my solid wooden door with safe mortice, it simply did not fit. I reached out to customer support for help, but they were slow, unresponsive and unhelpful. In short, Simpled's advertising is deceptive, their product is not as versatile as they claim, and their customer service is lacking. Save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere for a reliable smart door lock. I hate myself for giving a chance to this British brand, Yale is a much better option.
