I also just experienced what the restaurant called “a scam” when I called to follow up with them about what I’m about to write. I went to the restaurant on Google Maps, followed the link to the listed website and made an order, giving my credit card info and address. 45 minutes later someone named Joe called and said the restaurant couldn’t take my order, and he immediately hung up on me. I called the restaurant told him what happened and they said they had no record of any order, and that it was a scam that just started happening to them. Beware.
