We switched our business insurance from Markel and have regretted the decision ever since. On filing our first ever claim, the legal expenses cover isn't what we were told and the appointing of your own solicitor/accountant is not covered to deal with a matter, They would rather I spend precious work time now bringing up an external professional that they appoint on 20 years of a business. Not ideal when you are running a business.Furthermore it takes weeks to get a claim approved with many days where your point of contact does not come into work. Very unprofessional service.
