Very very disappointed with the services offered by Simply Trip. Considering that their charges were significantly higher than other smaller operators, their services were very sub-standard. We were informed that their buses are in prime shape and used for IPL teams and corporate events of organisations like Reliance and Adani and others, but after seeing the condition of the bus, it is highly doubtful. I had hired a 35 seater bus from Mumbai to Nashik and return. It was a pathetic bus. The shock absorbers were totally ineffective, the air conditioner made loud flapping noises (the driver said he had informed the operations team about it but so far it has not been fixed), and there was very little space in the baggage hold. We were promised had promised that the bus would have 3 baggage holds but this one had only one and it was insufficient for 35 passengers. As a result, we had to load the suitcases in the cabin and offload 4 passengers who had to come by Uber. All this was communicated to my account manager Mr. Samuel but he did not do anything other than say ‘I will talk to my customer support team and revert’. No revert came from him and infact he stopped answering my calls. When I called customer support, I was informed that he had not escalated the situation to them. I had requested him and the customer support team to change the bus for the return, but that did not happen. Infact, my guests found the bus so bad, that they decided to book private cars on their own for the return Two of my guests suffered back injury because of poor shock absorbers.Neither the account manager nor the customer support team provided an escalation matrix. Given my poor experience, I am unlikely to ever use the services of simply Trip again or to recommend it to anyone.
