Booked a Tempo Traveler. Navi Mumbai to Nanded. Trip Date: 14 Apr 2026.
A smooth-talking salesman will promise you the moon. To protect his future, won’t name him. He will provide “vehicle that is top notch – flagship model”. He wants an advance. Paid INR 10,500. Reporting Time: 06:45 h. When you wake up in the morning – nightmare starts. No vehicle at 06:45 h. No vehicle even at 07:00 h. Flurry of calls. Customer Support says “will update you”. Tried calling the salesman who took the advance. No luck. Bro vanished like he never existed.
Driver arrives at 07:49 h. Over 1 h late. We are already late by 1 h over a journey of 10 h. The “flagship model” vehicle is a yellow Tempo. Unprofessional driver. Demands the balance of the $$$ right away. Customer support calls. They too want the balance of the $$$ right away. No remedy or compensation for the late arrival. I suggested a solution. They reject it. Also, the vehicle doesn’t belong to Simplytrip. They just take it from the market.
I finally cancel the trip at 08:32 h. Would rather lose INR 10,500 than 40,000. By arriving late the company has already broken the contract and trust. Travelling with family on a trip organized by Simplytrip – the risk is too extreme
Meanwhile Simplytrip, a small company, is still trying to explore “all possible options for a refund” – even after a week.
My advice to the Foreigners / NRIs / Tourists who value professionalism / quality service and punctuality – Simply avoid Simplytrip. Don’t even touch it with a barge pole.
