The very worst company I've had the misfortune to deal with.I was a customer for 10 years, and for 8 they were excellent. I have never experienced such a freefall in service and customer care as Site5 have gone through in the last year or so. The final straw for me was 3 weeks ago when they accidentally terminated my account, deleting all my websites, and deleting all my emails, without any notice.They effectively terminated our relationship by mistake, and have done next to nothing to try and restore it. Customer service tickets aren't replied to for days (and it seems this is why my emails were deleted - had they looked into their initial error sooner, the emails would have been retrievable) and there is very little evidence of anyone there taking ownership of problems. I cannot warn people enough - there is no reason to use this company at all.Since then, I started looking around for alternative hosting companies. I found loads who offer a service where they will migrate your websites over to their hosting from cowboys like site5. This is usually free of charge.I wish I'd done this. As it is, the new hosting cos have both been excellent so far, and infinitely better than site5. If you're reading this and use site5, I'd urge you to research alternative hosting companies. Find one with decent reviews, make contact, and see if they'll migrate your account away from shite5. You will not regret it.
