This is some horrible web hosting service…

This is some horrible web hosting service. Although I used them for a decade due to my laziness, when I was ready to move on, 10 days before the hosting service to be expired, they charged me over $800 (which is way too expensive from today's standard) because I had the recurring billing turned on. (In fact, I spent hours looking at their horrible site and find a way to turned that off.) Since I still had 10 more days before its due, I asked them to get full refund and they refused it! The site was down constantly. The price is crazy high. The service is the worst possible. Stay away from these scammers! They don't deserve your money or attention.

These people are a joke

These people are a joke. They keep billing me for a domain that i moved away from them because of the terrible customer service. Don't even go there.

I was a long time customer. No notification for Auto renewal!!

I was a long time customer. My site was auto renewed without a notification. Also per their own terms it states, "We will provide you with at least thirty (30) days' notice of your renewal pricing before charging you on any annual or longer term plans." I never recieved an notification about the price increase either! Once I found the site was charged I canceled my site, then I was told I was not getting a refund... If you use them DO NOT USE THE AUTO RENEW!!! They did offer to cancel the site and keep the money if I needed any other web services!! It's too bad because the hosting wasn't really too bad. This has changed my opinion of them!

Worst support ever you can get is from…

Worst support ever you can get is from site5. Recently i was transferring a website from site5. We have been using them for probably around 10+ years as our management kept them. We always had tough time getting in touch with them and ensuring our website is up and running. They are the resellers and have lot of troubles and limitations compared to other domain providers. Recommend not use them anymore.

Not ideal

Was with them for many years. They were IXwebhosting back in 2000. Site5 bought them and support went downhill. Now it is diabolical. Admittedly the hardware I was on aged but they wouldn’t assist me in migrating to new hardware and so their prices to stay on old hardware were about 4 times the price on 4 times worse kit. I now have a host I am much happier with. These guys are still sending me 100’s of domain renewal emails every week and their support team won’t talk to me because they closed my account and so I can’t get the support code because I can’t login. Common sense is not their strong point.

Awful service

I canceled my account, but they claim i only requested the Domain Name transfer and billed me for the next 2 years even when i had my 'autopay' canceled. As a 'kind' gesture, they are willing to keep my $520.00 payment as credit for future use???? they refused to refund it. Terrible customer service and only able to contact by email or chat.

STAY AWAY

STAY AWAY! I had webhosting services with this company for a number of years and finally moved my websites after they wouldnt update PhP versions to something current that my forms needed. I moved the websites off their site a month ago and disabled the auto-pay on the credit card. Just received a notice they charged my credit card anyway for the next three year period and now tell me they wont refund because I didnt notify them. They are the ones who illegally charged my credit card and now expect me to pay them for services I wont use. I now have to charge this back on my credit card to get my money back. Absolutely disgusting SCAMMER company.

Used to be OK but now Don't Go There

I had a website with Site5 for more than 10 years. Last time I needed to make a change, their new team was completely unhelpful and arrogant. They decidedI wasn't who I said I was and refused to help me at all, after I had instituted a change involving a new plan and a new U.R.L. Needless to say, it messed up my efforts to build a website at a new URL and I still haven't fixed their mess.
