Absolutely never again.Hired a convertible in Spain for a day recently. Car was a delight, pickup very good. Had a good day out.On return they checked over the car with a level of thoroughness I have never seen before. In fact took some time. Armed with a bright light, every panel, bit of trim, wheels, screen and the full interior were checked over for damage. (we had NOT damaged the car). It felt a bit over the top, but pleasingly we were given a receipt that the car was in perfect condition. Thought that was the end of it.Incidentally, we had also paid extra for full damage waiver even if we HAD scuffed the car.Anyway, two weeks pass and I get a threatening style email with photos saying there was a scuff on the wing of the car. If there was it certainly wasn't us, and the person doing the final check over didn't record one. Can only assume it happened in their car park, perhaps another car being parked.Yet I was asked to give a full statement on my thoughts. Incredible.Pointed out that it was checked over and no damage noted. Pointed out that I was fully insured regardless. Pointed out that I don't like being made out to be fraudulent.Never again
