After working my way up the customer service chain of command, I discovered protecting these scam tactics is standard procedure. It's a multimillion dollar campany basically trying to pick-pocket you while you watch.After checking out their history, it's amazing they haven't been shut down by now. Embezzlement, Price fixing, War profiteering, blackmail.Likely because they always have family members in high ranking political positions throughout the german government. So if you for some reason have to use Sixt car rental, fight back every time they try to scam you (there will be a lot of attempts), because you will always win. Somehow they're still not good at it.
