Memorable Winter memories in Sälen is what SKISTAR claim to offer.We, a family of four looked very much forward to a week of skiing AND some peace and quiet.The price was over 3000 €.It started with us not being able to get into our lodgings. They didn’t think of letting us (and a lot of other families) know that they were late with the cleaning. Skistar personel acted as it had nothing to do with them. Numbers we called put you on hold and then hung up.Our nabours were a party of young ‘girls’ who indeed partied 5 out of our 7 nights with loud music. Very loud!Our upstairs nabours were two families with three small children who were running and jumping up and down most of the day.The food in the so called restaurants is tacky and the service is poor. Loud music is played all over.The lifts are not working very well. The ski instructors couldn’t care less.Had we paid much less I could have let it pass.We will NEVER again travel with or to Skistar Sweden. Customer friendly they are NOT! Nightmare!Back to skiing in Norway and Austria. They haven’t forgot to take care of their paying customers. And they aren’t nearly as pricy.
