Our family of 5 absolutely loved our skiing holiday in Meribel Mottaret. Loads of lifts and slopes for us (intermediate and advanced) so we were happy to keep to our local ski pass. Chalet Elodie looked over the mountains and was very well positioned for the slopes a short walk away. You can ski back to the same point so really convenient. There were a lot of steps to and from the chalet but it kept us fit!Bedroom 2 has a bath and the water was always very hot. Our window had shutters that we only realised opened on our last day! Bedroom 5 has a lovely view from the window and is bigger. Our 24year old son had the single room (bedroom 4) which although hot and small (the skylight can’t be opened when covered in snow) he loved having his own space.Beth our chalet host was wonderful. She was really caring, kind, fun and helpful and cooked lovely meals for us.Our 26 yr old daughter went horse riding around the frozen lake with other riders. The riding centre is in the area and you can ski down to it from the chalet. She loved it.The transfers were good, long but interesting, and Skiworld organisation was great as always.
