I would not recommend SK:N Clinic based on my recent experience.
I booked an initial consultation for laser hair removal and was required to pay a £50 non-refundable deposit, which I was told would be deducted from my treatment package.
However, the clinic I was booked into appeared to be closed. Before attending, Google showed the clinic as “temporarily closed,” but when I queried this on the phone, I was assured it was open and was booked in regardless.
On 2 December 2025, I arrived 15 minutes early for my appointment to find the doors locked, no staff present, and the clinic looking completely empty. I waited, rang the doorbell, knocked, and gave it additional time, no one arrived. I have photo/video evidence of this.
I called the main number (which appears to route to head office) and was told it was strange because their system showed the clinic as temporarily closed, yet they were still able to book appointments there. I was asked to wait and call back.
When I called back, another staff member was extremely rude and passive-aggressive. I was placed on hold but could hear her speaking negatively about me to a colleague and falsely claiming I was shouting, which I was not. This was highly unprofessional. Another colleague later apologised and said they would investigate and call me back.
It is now February 2026 and I have received no follow-up, no explanation, and no refund of my £50 deposit.
The lack of communication, the ability to book appointments at a closed clinic, and the unprofessional behaviour from staff is concerning. I will be raising a claim with my bank to recover my deposit.
Very disappointing experience.
