Where to start.Tried to buy two new cars. One was damaged on the door when they PDId it. They assured me it would be repainted and the rest of the car would be covered over at the professional VW body shop. it came back caked in dust inside and out, finger prints all over it So I said 'no thanks'.the second attempt was at another dealer, and the fuel pump on the Fabia was faulty. They offered to replace it, and I said 'no thanks'. They did not process my refunable deposit regardless of how many times I chased this. I had to escalate to group level.I agreed with the non refunding dealers (Barlows Stoke) that all of my personal information should be removed from their system.A week later I got a cold call from another Skoda Dealer in Preston - who had clearly gotten my number from the Skoda system via Barlows. So, my advice, if you want a car - don't buy a Skoda.
