Zero back-up. Zero support

The most amazing Ev you could drive. A game changer in every tiny inch of the car. Then wholeheartedly destroyed by the most incompetent woeful backup and aftersales. Never again will I go within a mile of Skoda. Its do bad Im desperatley trying to reject my car. They just have no support whatsoever. Its so sad, the first 3 weeks were amazing until the fault light pops up then wow the nightmare begins. Avoid at all costs or end up with £54k of sorrow.

The worst company for customer service and reliable cars

Awful company with the worst customer service I have ever had the misfortune of experiencing. I will never purchase another Skoda again and would strongly urge any considering of doing so to re think. I purchased a brand new Kodiaq in September 2024 which has broken down with less than 13,000 miles on the clock at only 17 months old. The hybrid battery is supposedly the cause but I have no faith in anything that anyone who works for this shoddy company have told me so far. Skoda Wolverhampton are refusing to accept my rejection request upon the basis that the vehicle is repairable despite there being no estimated / end date for the part to be delivered. No one ever rings you back and you get told conflicting things by basically everyone who you have the misfortune of dealing with. No one wants to take any accountability or responsibility for my current situation or the countless numbers of hours I have spent on the phone. I am now going through the Ombudsman to try and obtain a solution.

Abysmal customer service and even worse…

Abysmal customer service and even worse vehicles. 5 months into ownership raised a complaint 8 months later and 2 dealers looking at the car, 1 who damaged the car twice and couldn't even carry out an update on the car after having it 3 days and and telling us it was completed. Neither garage carried out diagnostic tests and basically brushed of all faults left with a vehicle we can no longer trust and every losing a huge some of money or going further with the complaint to the financial ombudsman more stress and time wasted. They will happily take your money at time of purchase and promise the earth until you have an issue and the skoda promise is worthless biggest pile of shit ever.

Less than a year old and the infotainment system can't be fixed

My Skoda Kamiq is less that a year old, six weeks ago I reported the infotainment system not working, this means no navigation, no phone interaction, no camera, and erratic behaviour by the safety features. I've put the car in for repair on 3 separate days and have now been told that it needs a part that is on back order with no availability date. Surely if they are still producing this model they would have a stock of all the parts.

After calling the local Skoda…

After calling the local Skoda dealership and explaining the problem to the switchboard I was told that they would arrange for someone from servicing to call me back. I waited a week and still no call so I called them back and asked directly for parts. I spoke to the parts manager who sent me an email with a diagram of the fuel system. It bore no resemlance to my car. I did say that the only part that looked remotely like what I needed was the smallest piece of the diagram. I was told it came as a kit at a cost of £214.20, I asked how much it would cost if they fitted it. that was about a week ago I'm still waiting. Having checked out BRISkoda it seems that this is a very common fault with the Fabia 1.4 diesel, a forum user suggested buying a 7mm ID fuel hose from Halfords @ less than £3and using jubilee clips to secure it. I've since sent the parts manager my VIN and a photo of the failed part. No response yet. I called the main contact number 0333 and was asked to hold, after 5 mins @35p per minute I gave up.Appauling, how do they stay in business.

Visiting Škoda Oxford (Kidlington)…

Visiting Škoda Oxford (Kidlington) after my AdBlu cap jammed and urgently needed to access it prior to a long journey. The Servicing Department (Rose) was so helpful and the new receptionist and Service department sorted everything so quickly while I waited. Couldn’t be happier….. thank you!!!!!

Wonderful

I cannot fault Skoda Assist. I have used them for 3 different things recently. Short wait time on the phone and staff were polite and professional. Mechanics came out in a timely manner and were very efficient and professional. One very happy customer.
