My three year old Skoda went in for its routine service and first MOT in Jan. I was shocked to be presented with around £1k of 'urgent' work being required on my car (it did pass its MOT so I question just how urgent some of this stuff is.The main issue is apparently rear brake pads and discs. This is my third car owned from new and I have never had to replace tear brake pads and discs in such a new car. I can only conclude that either (a) Skoda lied or (b) Skoda parts are rubbish.I attempted to raise a complaint with Skoda but was told this is all down to my driving style (I've been driving around 30 years and my other cars have all coped).Zero interest from Skoda on providing any remedial action/compensation. I won't be shopping with them again... For either cars or servicing.
