Terrible service I have been a customer at Skoda for the past 8 years and never had a bad experience before. However the service I was given at Warrington lightcliffe Skoda was the worst service I have ever received from any company. I paid for diagnostics tests, but the information about what I wanted the mechanic to look at was not passed on 3 different occasions. I was then charged for an additional hours diagnostic service, despite the fact the mechanic did not even look at the part I advised was faulty in the first hour. This information about what needed looking at was clearly not passed onto the mechanic by the front of house team. It took an AA mechanic and a different independent garage less than an hour to diagnose the fault, so it is surprising that Skoda were unable to find the fault in 2 hours. I made a complaint and then suddenly the diagnostics were completed.Skoda then refused to confirm that they would stand by their work if I went ahead with the repair they completed. They charged me for bulbs without informing me of the price or obtaining my consent for the price of the bulbs- they simply added this cost to my invoice without my consent. When I queried the invoice, instead of explaining the invoice, I got rudeness from the customer service liaison. The customer service employee was rude to me throughout, even before I had any issues.I did not want to leave a public review, as I believe it is fair to give companies opportunity to respond to any issues and rectify them, but I have made a complaint to customer services but 2 weeks later I have not received a response.I did not expect such poor service. I did not expect to be treated so rudely throughout my experience. All I can recommend is for everyone to avoid Skoda Warrington Lightcliffe at all costs. They rip you off, they are incompetent, will not stand by their work and will be disrespectful and rude to you throughout your dealings with them.
