I am writing to formally file a complaint regarding a delivery associated with my recent order.
The order was placed on March 21 and arrived in Cyprus on March 26. The initial estimated delivery date was March 27 between 10:03 and 12:03.
On March 27, at approximately 11:00, I received a phone call from the driver informing me he would arrive in five minutes. I politely asked him to wait 10 minutes, but he refused. I then offered to come to his location immediately since no one was at home, and I also asked whether delivery could be rescheduled for after 15:00. He agreed.
However, when I contacted him after 15:00, he informed me he had already left the city and that delivery would be postponed until March 30.
On March 30, the delivery time kept changing, and ultimately the order was not delivered. The system marked the reason as “driver cannot find the address,” despite the fact that:
I had accurately pinned my location on the map when placing the order.
I did not receive any phone call from the driver, even though I had explicitly requested to be contacted 10 minutes before arrival.
I contacted support multiple times, but I was only able to communicate with an automated system that could not provide meaningful assistance or contact the driver.
Following support instructions, I changed the delivery address to a Skroutz Point. However, I was informed that:
The driver would not be notified of this change.
There is no way to directly communicate with the driver.
This is highly concerning and reflects a serious flaw in the delivery process.
On March 31, I was again assured that delivery would take place (between 09:00 and 21:00). Despite waiting the entire day, the delivery was once again rescheduled without any notification. As of now (22:30), I still have not received my order.
This situation demonstrates:
Repeated delivery failures
Lack of communication from the driver
Inability to contact a human representative
Ineffective support system
Poor coordination between customer support and delivery personnel
I would like to emphasize that my primary concern is to receive my order as soon as possible. Additionally, I request:
Immediate clarification on the status of my delivery
A confirmed and reliable delivery time
An explanation for the repeated failures
Assurance that this issue will be addressed to prevent recurrence
Until today, I’m still waiting for my order tomorrow. It’s the next day a new adventure with the drivers.
