My saga with SkyCards.eu began in August 2018 when I purchased a Sky+HD Satellite Digibox & Sky Card for 169.00 GBP. I quickly discovered the Sky box would not record programs on its hard drive and when it did, it would frequently record only part of the scheduled program. Online research revealed this was a common issue and one which in my case and many others, Sky had no interest in resolving and I stopped using the Sky HD satelite box. The Sky services were also not worth the money. In May 2019, I had issues with the VPN service used as part of the NowTV offering by Sky when without notice they increased their monthly charge by 20%. They also double charged me and would not offer a refund. I have since cancelled the service. My total experience with Sky customer service was that they were not interested if you remained a customer or not. I chose not.Regarding Skycards.eu reply to my review. Yes I contacted Sky support on 23/08/2018 about the Sky HD box and was given nothing more than standard pre-scripted responses, none of which addressed the many issues I had with this satellite box. I summed it all up at the time by saying the Sky+HD box and the service it supplied was extremely unreliable and could NOT be relied upon to make recordings. This makes the Sky+HD box unfit for purpose and worthless to me. If Sky would like the box back for a refund, I still have it, only used for a couple of days, still good as new.Follow up contact with Sky support over the past couple of days (Jul 11-12, 2019) has resulted in no further progress or resolution.They continue to refuse to accept any evidence that the box is faulty or that the box has a long history of the same problems being reported online as far back as 2011. They have also ignored requests for a returns number that would enable me to return the box under it's 12 month warranty. They keep insisting they will only accept evidence/proof of faults submitted in a report from a local satelite installer, when I am in fact way more qualified than an installer. I have a BSc Eng. degree in electronics and have been a qualified design engineer with over 35 years experience in TV, Cable & Satelite systems, Internet & Telephony service provision, installer training, customer service support, product testing and network diagnostics. If Sky support won't accept the results of my product tests (which they won't) then no other customer will every get Sky to accept anything the customer reports. If I could give less than 1 star for Skycards.eu I would. My advice is avoid them like the plague.
