I had positive experiences on my first three trips with them, so I booked another adventure to summit Mount Aconcagua and paid the initial deposit.After my first meeting and reading more reviews online, I realized many people had negative experiences with this local company in Argentina summit company, so I decided to cancel my summit trip and planned with another company. That’s when the real issue arose: the €500 I paid is non-refundable and can only be used as credit for future trips.The credit system is extremely restrictive. For example, I’m now booking another trip that costs almost €600, but I can only apply €77 of my credit to it. You are essentially stuck with them, unable to fully use what you’ve already paid.It’s frustrating because this company seems more interested in squeezing money from customers than providing honest, ethical, and purpose-driven services.If you’re considering booking with Skyhook Adventures, please be careful. Read reviews thoroughly and only proceed if you are willing to accept last-minute, restrictive policies.
