I had an excellent experience with Skylight Psychiatry for my ADHD diagnosis and treatment. Although I waited about 14-16 weeks for medication, the process was worth it. The nurse prescriber Iftikhar Choudhury is incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, offering support with dosage adjustments and regular catch-ups. I am still going through titration process with ADHD meds and feel fully supported throughout my treatment so far which can be a difficult experience for someone like me that is late diagnosed ADHD awaiting Autism report.
I also highly recommend the clinicians involved in my autism assessment, as I felt guided throughout the process and was informed of the expected timeline for my final report.
The thorough reports provided by their multidisciplinary team were detailed and valuable, which is why patience is necessary. My journey with Skylight Psychiatry has been positive, and I now feel hopeful with the support I’ve received. We see privately funded patients and can work with legal firms, NHS England and local CCGs to provide support. We also provide bespoke training to employers,carers groups and psychoeducation to people who have received a diagnosis.
