The service is frustrating and ineffective. They readily sell films, but when attempting to watch them on a Windows PC or laptop, I encounter issues with installation components. It’s misleading to not inform customers beforehand that they may not be able to access their purchases. The response from the support team suggested it was not their problem. This lack of communication is unacceptable.
For the second time, I attempted to watch a movie, and while the app functions well for billing, it fails when it comes to streaming the content. The first time, I sent a complaint email, but the response was dismissive, suggesting I use a mobile device instead without addressing the issue.
The app is incompatible with any of my TVs. I faced playback errors when attempting to cast from my phone and was logged out repeatedly when using another device. I managed to watch part of the film on my laptop, but now it has vanished, and the rental period has expired. This was a gift rental, and I am quite disappointed.
I woke up to find a movie had been rented while I was asleep. Customer service claimed it was from a device registered to me, but I live alone and questioned which device it was. Without a pin set up, they said nothing could be done. This situation is concerning and highlights the need for security measures even for solo users.
Retrieving rented movies is overly complicated, with a limited 48-hour viewing window starting from purchase, not when you begin watching. I rented a movie but faced issues retrieving it and missed the viewing window. This experience has been far from satisfactory.
