Having used the Ooler since 2020, I found it to be quite good for cool sleeping, even though it never reached 55 degrees. After five years, it started showing signs of wear, including some mold, and struggled to cool down to 65 degrees on boost. Upon discovering that it had been discontinued, I was initially disappointed. However, I decided to invest in the new model, opting for the California twin to cover more of my bed. The Chilipad arrived within a week and was simple to set up. I appreciate the washable pad, which is a significant improvement over the Ooler's design. Once it was ready, I managed to get the temperature down to 53 degrees in under an hour! I'm extremely satisfied with this purchase. While I liked the Ooler, this new model is clearly a step up.
