Disappointed with Points Tracking

I spent three days at the hotel and was surprised to find that they accepted cash at the front desk. I was not asked for my membership number. Not only was I charged an extra $100, but my stay points were not tracked, leading to nearly $600 in charges. When I inquired about my points, they told me to contact the hotel chain directly. I was informed that I wouldn't receive points for my two-day stay. What a disappointment!
