The first mobile we ordered from Smart Cellular was delivered within 5 days as described on their website (so far so good).
The second mobile order was processed the day after placing the order. What followed was 10 days of emails confirming the mobile was at dispatch, there where delays at the warehouse, and on and on. Finally, they admitted the mobile was not in stock and would we like another one. No, we would not, ordered a device from another company, and as I write awaiting refund to our credit card.
Selling a used mobile phone to Smart Cellular… Read the other reviews. We where offered £81 Good Condition (No heavy wear and tear, such as scuffs, dents, and deep scratches). Now be very careful how you read their offer email, when it states £20 that is their written offer for a device that has been in a hard case all it’s life with a screen protector with “No heavy wear and tear, such as scuffs, dents, and deep scratches”.
We mistakenly thought they were deducting £20 from £81 as surely, they were not offering scrap value! And accepted the offer in error. A professional company would have sent our device back as we requested once we realised our error. Not these boys!
The account section on their website is atrociously bad. Both purchased mobiles disappeared from the account, if selling a mobile you need another log in and that disappeared and we could not log back into the account (no response from sales@smartcellular about that either.
