Very disappointing experience at Smyths Toys Stockport.
I visited with my 8-year-old son to buy a scooter for his birthday. The store was quiet, but there were no staff available to help. When we finally found someone, she responded rudely and dismissed us when we asked if my son could try a scooter.
I then spoke to the manager (Scott), who agreed to arrange for my son to try one outside. However, after waiting, another staff member came and refused, then argued with the manager " scott" dosent seem have control over his staff Completely unprofessional in front 8 year old boy.
My son was left upset and disappointed. We left and went to Decathlon instead, where the service was excellent and we bought a scooter with no issues.
Sadly, I won’t be returning to Smyths Stockport again.
Awful Manager and very bad customer service by the staff .
