Although I am new to the app, I really like the way it works. The only feature that I would like to see is multiple check in's per day which I understand they are working on. I am currently a free user but am considering the subscription service in the future.

But if you miss your selected check-in time, you will first get a reminder notification on their smartphone.
And if you don’t respond after multiple reminders, their emergency contacts will be notified and given their last known location.
