Failed - Switched to Incorrect Tariff
I left EON Next Drive after then put up their rates for the nighttime EV charging. I went through the switch process to move to SO Energy. However, once I was moved across and received my first statement around a week after the switch, I realised SO had put me on their Flex Tariff, at nearly 4x the night rate - bit of a shock when charging my car! Their Customer Services said I never 'requested' a Tariff switch - but that is because as far as I knew I was supposed to be on their EV tariff from Day One. Regardless of this, they would not switch me immediately, without a request going into the EV team, which would take 2 days. I have now requested to move back to EON. Make sure you know what you are joining!
