I purchased the New Zealand Mitchell wool spring/autumn duvet and had high expectations given the price and description. While it does provide good warmth and temperature regulation, I’m quite disappointed overall.
The duvet feels heavier than expected for a spring/autumn option, which makes it less comfortable for everyday use. I was hoping for something lighter and more breathable.
The main issue, however, is the crackling noise. Every time I move, the duvet makes a noticeable rustling sound, which is quite disruptive during the night. For a product at this price point, I wouldn’t expect this kind of issue.
Overall, it performs well in terms of warmth, but the weight and noise significantly reduce the comfort and quality I was expecting.
