Gouging Canadians in times of need.Sobeys has been seeing high profits, at the expense of Canadians in this very volatile time. Upon review, I've noticed many other places offering the same or similar items at REGULAR priced for 15-20% below Sobey's 'sale' prices. These are both international stores and local small businesses. (Reference: Walmart, Giant Tiger, Dave's, Gateway, Pete's Frootique) On top, the quality of their produce is just awful, often wilting and going bad very quickly. It's sad many Canadians trust this "Canadian" company whom doesn't seem to care they are literally leaving some choosing between food and shelter. I would highly suggest shopping elsewhere, prices are much more affordable at the places above, at least in Nova Scotia.
