Once you get into the way of making Sodastream drinks you’ll know how you’ll like it!
Choosing less syrup and more or less fizz!
……
I like the syrup to be under the bottom line of the lid as less is better for you and still gives that same great taste!
……
I had a major issue that I’ve finally resolved if you ever encounter when beginning with a new sodastream or during preparation!
……
To begin with my soda water made from the tap had a horrific horrible taste of baking soda and tasted bitter. Lucky I managed to fixed the issue if you ever encounter bad tasting sodastream!
……
Remember to remove any tap fixings that are cheap or non-stainless steel as this will cause the metallic or baking soda taste in the tap water that you will seriously not want!
……
To prevent fizz loss when the syrup is added to the sodastream at the end remember not to shake aggressive to mix. Just gently tip the bottle back and forth to mix a few times.
……
For those of you that don’t like the flavour syrup or find them not like the original like on the shop shelves, you may need to work at it as I find the syrups are very much similar. They shouldn’t taste horrible.
……
You can improve the taste of the soda water by letting the tap run on cold for a few minutes so your getting the freshest of tap water especially if the tap hasn’t been used in awhile. Remember to keep open syrups in the fridge at all times and only fill the syrup up to the middle line max in the cap. You can always use less syrup but don’t exceed the middle measuring line in the syrup lid. Follow instructions on syrup bottle.
