I made a purchase from Sodastream.com on 10/23 in the amount of $104.10. I made one purchase and I receive a one delivery for what I ordered, however, I was charged TWICE on the same day for the same amount. I provided screenshots that show the duplicate charge on my Amex account as well as the Amex transaction ID numbers associated with both charges on my credit card statement. I have spent a total of nearly 2 hours on the phone with Amex and Sodastream getting nowhere with a resolution. This wasn’t even the only error made by Sodastream for this purchase, but a giant financial burden of an error that as a loyal Sodastream customer should have been taken care of without making me wait an unknown timeframe to get this taken care of. This is unacceptable to be playing games like this. Customer service is useless and apparently so is this “finance department” that isn’t taking care of this with the prompt attention it should be treated with. I should not be expected to wait for a resolution, nor should I be wasting this many hours of my valuable time for a duplicate charge to be taken care of my either Sodastream as the dishonest, untrustworthy merchant who robbed me of an extra $104.10 or for the frustration and inconvenience caused by the lack of help I experienced from Amex in getting a dispute created.
