I was thrilled with Soda Stream! They were prompt to both respond & replace a machine that unfortunately broke soon after purchase. We have had Soda Stream for years & love that we can reduce plastic waste & still enjoy sparkling water. Their willingness to try to problem solve first and then replace our machine reminds me what it means to work with professional companies who stand by the quality of their products and reputation. I love the product, but the process of reordering CO2 is very poor, at least when you do it through them through the mail. Specifically the return process for sending back the empty cylinders. I've done this three times and two of those times I did not receive a return label in the box. "No problem" their email says, just log into your account and print off the label. I'm very competent technically (an engineer), but that process is fairly broken - if you enter the wrong credentials, it just reloads the login page with no indication of a problem. It pops up a "shop" verification option when you put in your email, but when you respond to the code they send to your email address, there's no way to enter the code because a mobile device doesn't recognize the boxes as text entry, so no keyboard appears. In the past I've had to contact their support to get a PDF of the return label and print it out myself. It's a long, frustrating, and excessive process for something that should be simple. As the CO2 is overpriced, it's a very poor reflection on them and they've not fixed it for over a year. The experience through brick and mortar stores might be better, but it's not part of a normal shopping flow for most of them (because of the return process) so I imagine clunky as well.
Been using SodaStream products since introduced. Products are high quality and customer service is the best. Plus, I have helped keep tons of waste from entering the environment.
I love the product. I can have my soda pip fix with their diet product. And I have to say their Pepsi Labeled items taste better.
Ordering the canisters online is convenient, as well as returning the empties.
We have a legacy bubbler - a Genesis - and were looking to trade up to a newer model of SodaStream, one that used glass bottles. Nelly at SodaStream was very helpful in arranging (and rearranging) a bundle to suit our needs, and gave us a great price, as well. We love our SodaStream!
I ordered a product that I thought was made of glass but ended up being made of plastic. I emailed customer service my concern and their response was timely, and they were pleasant. Although due to some sanitary guidelines they could not accept my return but they promptly refunded my money no questions asked. Very good experience!
I asked a substantive and nuanced question about why SoddStream was now asking me for the first time to include the small plastic colored caps with my returned cylinders. Within a couple of days I received a thoughtful, thorough and apparently informed response. I wasn't sure if this excellent response was from a perfected AI algorithm, or from a thoughtful and informed human being, either one of which used the name of "Nichole". In any event I'm thankful.
I'm thrilled with my sparkling water maker! I can create small bottles of my grandkids' favorites, including sugar-free options that are hard to find in most places, resulting in minimal waste. Plus, I can make sugar-free cola with sucralose instead of aspartame, which I dislike. Since we use the CO2 cylinders slowly due to our preference for small bottles, I couldn't return the empty cylinders in the required time. The customer support team was excellent in guiding me through the process, responding promptly and offering great alternatives.
My representative was excellent—very professional and accommodating. They sent me 2 complimentary cylinders, which was a generous gesture from the company. I recently purchased a new machine online and have been using a similar product for years. It really saves me the hassle of carrying bottles from the store!
