Error message on inverter so requested a maintenance visit. Engineer spent less than 30minutes and told us the inverter was broken and we needed a replacement. Quoted £1500 for installation of an inverter that he said would take 30minutes - when we checked the price for the unit online it is possible to purchase the unit for £400. We asked for another company to quote who sent their engineer and established that the inverter is working but the issue is with the wiring on the roof - they have managed to get 1/2 our system working again via the supposed “broken inverter”. We were therefore charged for the wrong information during the maintenance appointment and nearly overcharged for a unit that we do not need. Would not use this company again.
