I bought a year's travel insurance cover last year, then when I was looking at my bank statements I noticed a much bigger payment to them this year. I have had no emails warning of renewal or notification of the cover starting, unless they did what they seem to do and email you not with a southdowns email address, but a coverwise address. When I signed up I saw no warning that auto-renewal was even a possibility so I never thought to disable it.I tried to disable it myself but my previous information did not work on their antiquated login system.I emailed to complain that they had done this and got an automated notification they had disabled auto-renewal and that's it. I don't want this insurance and had already purchase insurance for a holiday elsewhere before realising.
