Ensure that when you take out a policy you include every time you’ve been to any form of medical centre within the past 2 years. Found myself in hospital in Vietnam - £500 later and back on the mend I got round to sorting out my insurance. Thought was odd at first that they wanted 2 years worth of medical records- but this is just to catch you on the fine print. My current medical condition was stated in my original policy. However I did not declare times I had been to an urgent care centre for things such as an insect bite or a sprained ankle that occurred 2 years prior to this incident. They will get you on a technicality. These are not a current medical condition (buttt they once were and have been investigated as such). If you decide to take out a policy with these people make sure you include every time you sneeze. Just in case.
