Bad experience. First of all their online system to make claim didn't work well, and struggled to uploading any documents, in the end I had to call the call centre and was told to send missing information or documents by email and they will be uploaded to the claim, which I am not sure if they as it doesn't seem they had been uploaded any extra information online to the claim. I had a small claim ~100 pounds, for emergency dental appointment and antibiotics, for a pain in a tooth that I had filling done in past. My claim was declined as I didn't declare having a filling in a tooth as a pre-existing conditions. First time I hear that a routine dental work, such as fillings counts as pre-existing medical condition.Additionally, letter of decline was full of mistakes, First of all it stated "we are not able to offer anycoverage for your holiday’s cancellation." While I didn't make claim for a holiday's cancellation, only for a dental emergency dental appointment. Additionally, it stated dates which made no sense. Next time if I will be using Southdowns (which is highly unlikely) I will make sure that I will state all the tooth I have fillings in)...Additionally I went on to the Southdowns website, clicked "cover me window", to see what pre-existing conditions you can declare. Some how having dental filling isn't on the list of pre-existing conditions that you can declare online.
