I am a great advocate of giving credit to a person or business when it is due, and in this case it is more than due.
What Lianne has managed to achieve with Huxley, our 7 year old, nervous nelly Cockapoo in the 2 years she has been grooming him is nothing short of miraculous, her patience, love and empathy towards him is so far above and beyond I cannot put it in to words.
Before we found the Spicy dog groomer (Lianne) we were told Huxley was not groomable, we had been through several groomers all of which gave up on him as a lost cause.
Huxley used to be double muzzled and would get himself in such a state during a groom it was painful to see, now with the effort and love of Lianne he is almost like any normal dog when being groomed, sure there are areas he does not enjoy being done but I'm sure that goes for most dogs.
Lianne, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for what you have done. We cannot recommend you highly enough.

I honestly can’t recommend Lianne enough. My elderly dog Rosie has always struggled with grooming—she’s what you’d call a “spicy” dog, and we’ve been turned away by multiple groomers or had appointments cut short because of her behaviour. It was stressful and disheartening every time.Then we found Lianne, and everything changed. She’s the only groomer who has ever been able to handle Rosie with patience, understanding, and genuine care. Not only does she always finish the job to a really high standard, but she’s completely transformed how Rosie feels about being groomed. She’s no longer anxious, which is something I never thought I’d see.Lianne clearly has a special skill when it comes to dogs that need extra understanding, and it shows in every visit. On top of that, her prices are brilliant, especially considering the level of care and expertise she provides.I trust her completely with Rosie, and I wouldn’t let anyone else groom her now. If you have a nervous or “spicy” dog, Lianne is absolutely the person you need. 🐾

Haven’t even made it home yet but couldn’t wait to write a review. SO SO impressed and happy with Lianne.On the way to the appointment we had doubts about whether or not she’d be able to cut my dogs nails. Booked him in for the desensitisation and when we arrived to pick him up, she’d cut them! My dog loved her and he definitely doesn’t like everyone. Great advice given! So knowledgeable, friendly, kind and professional. 10/10 couldn’t recommend enough. It was quite a drive but definitely worth it. Bruno is a very spicy Pomeranian with severe separation anxiety, he hates everyone (obviously not us) I portrayed him to be a little gremlin. Half way through his groom I get a text message saying how good he was being l, my response was "sorry are you talking about my dog" . I think he prefers to groomed in a home setting rather than a shop. So happy with Lianne, will definitely use her again. Xx
Our dog Boris’ nails were in desperate need of being cut. We had tried everything at home but he just went completely mad as soon as you went anywhere near his feet. Last year they got so bad we took him to the vet to be sedated to have them done, he took way over the usual amount of sedation and still he found the ordeal incredibly traumatic, growling, shaking and whimperingWe came across Lianne on Facebook and reached out, Lianne was confident she could help, we weren’t so sure but more than willing to try. Lianne not only managed to cut his nails, she sent a video so that we could see he wasn’t too stressed and she bathed him and he came out smelling beautiful. Lianne is worth her weight in gold, a real life hero for a dog whose nails were becoming a real issue! We will now be visiting The Spicy Dog Groomer regularly and will recommend to every dog owner, especially those with reactive, challenging dogs like ours
Can't recommend Leanne enough, absolutely amazing from start to finish, put us at ease sent photos during the groom. Our Ginger Ninja doesn't usually do well in grooming environment. But I can safely say she had a blast we Leanne. Nothing is rushed you don't feel like it's just a process, leanne really loves and cares for the dogs. Will be back super soon.
We recently went to Lianne with our GSD Murphy after being recommended. Murphy is a nervous anxious GSD and has never been keen on being bathed, dried and having his feet and toes clipped. Lianne totally got Murphy and what he needed in a groom. She was calm, patient and took all the time that Murphy needed in order for him to be groomed. I am amazed with what she did and would totally recommend her if your dog is in the same situation. She was so reassuring and kept me updated as she knew I was a little anxious myself.
