I brought in my schnauzer, who has had bad experiences in the past, and I was worried about how he would react. The staff was incredibly understanding and took extra precautions to ensure he felt safe and comfortable. They even allowed me to stay during the grooming session! The groomers were skilled and took their time, ensuring that my pup looked fantastic without causing him any stress. I left feeling relieved and happy, knowing that my dog had received the best care possible. The results were stunning, and I’ve already scheduled our next appointment!
I can't rate Lianne highly enough for the brilliant way she has helped our 8 year old German shepherd dog, who had become anxious about being bathed and with having his nails trimmed. He had an initial de-sensitisation session, and when we picked him up he already had trimmed nails and was really relaxed and happy with Lianne. When we took him back for a full groom a month later, he started howling with excitement as we drove up the lane. As soon as he saw Lianne, he rushed over and leapt all over her (sorry Lianne - he's quite a big boy) ! He happily followed her in, and emerged a couple of hours later - again in a calm, relaxed state, with a lovely groom and trimmed nails ! Lianne clearly has a great rapport with a nervous dog. Not only will we be taking him back, we have now booked in his little sister who is nervous of a blow-drier, as we have complete confidence Lianne will be able to give her a great experience too. I would highly recommend Lianne as a groomer, and especially for nervous dogs.
Lianne assessed my 4 Yr old lab as being very worried indeed about the grooming experience and so recommended starting with a gentle desensitisation session only. She was extremely patient and understanding and he came out a tired but a very happy boy with tail wagging. We are looking forward to our next visit, thanks so much Lianne! 👌
Lianne was absolutely brilliant, from the moment we arrived she was so understanding and made me feel at ease as I have a slightly anxious lab. Leanne was incredibly patient and professional - this was my rescue dog’s first introduction to a groomers . I booked the desensitization session as I knew he’d be nervous and Leanne took all my ( and his ) fears away by gently introducing him to the saloon. She clipped his nails with no fuss and he smelt amazing afterwards. Would 100% recommend and was worth the drive from Croydon . Thank you SDT !
Lianne is amazing with our cockapoo. He's not the easiest dog to groom. He has issues with anyone touching his legs paws but after advice from Lianne, we have been working on this and he is so much better. Not quite 100% ok but she can now groom him at least. Lianne is so good with him, she is calm, loving and caring with our dog and wants to do the best job she can. We would definitely recommend her! Thank you Lianne
