I was given a $50 Spa Finder Gift card in US dollars. I am in Vancouver Canada. On the Spafinder website, there is only one place in Vancouver at the Marriot Hotel that will take it according to the Spafinder Website. I booked an appointment but I was told by the Spa that it will take 4 to 6 weeks to get approval from Spa Finder for me to use the card. I phoned Spa Finder and they told me I cannot use that card in Canada even tough it is very clear that I can. Here are the exact words: Spafinder US Gift Cards are accepted at Spa by JW Vancouver, but require a 48 hour advance notice. What a waste of money. Don't ever buy this card. It is a scam.July 21 - Spafinder asked me for my card info which I sent to them. They also wanted proof of purchase. This was a gift and I don't have the receipt plus I will not ask the person who gave me that gift for proof of purchase. I never heard back from them.
