Review Time
It's a fairly good school for spanish the only issue is I scheduled a class and the teacher can't do it that day so they subbed in a teacher I know nothing about including their english speaking level. I don't want to be stressed out by miscommunications with a complete stranger and I would rather be involved in my teacher's replacement since I chose my teacher in the first place. also very few of the teacher's have good english speaking levels.
My children have been taking Spanish tutoring lessons through Homeschool Spanish Academy for more than 3 years and I am very happy with our experience. Of course, tutoring is only one component of a strong multi-faceted language learning program that I implement in our homeschool. We plan to continue with HSA and have received excellent customer service on the occasions that we have needed to reach out to resolve any issues. I highly recommend Homeschool Spanish Academy for any student seeking Spanish tutors.
I take Spanish from this school. It is wonderful! The teachers are nice and kind, and the curriculum is very useful. I've learned a lot! The teachers talk with you in Spanish so you learn the skills for talking in a Spanish conversation.
My daughter has been a student for some time with Spanish Academy. I am tired of wasting time trying to log in, and then finding out that there are -- yet again -- technical difficulties that either don't allow the class to happen at all, or we are 5 or 10 minutes late, sometimes even later. We have a very busy schedule, and I can't keep doing this. This time it was the audio that wouldn't work -- the teacher couldn't hear her speak. We both restarted our computers, to no avail. I wasted 15 minutes trying to figure it out. Last time the teacher had no electricity. The time before that, the connection was so poor, it was a good 10 minutes before the class could even start. I wanted a refund immediately of the remaining classes. I have no intention of using them. I'll have to move on to something else that works better for my daughter and doesn't waste our time. I was told repeatedly by the Chat worker that there is a refund policy denying my request that apparently is news to me, otherwise I wouldn't have made the bulk purchase in the first place. Policy or not, it's within my rights to receive one, especially since service is SO POOR!
