During our holidays in Italy this year, our money - over one thousand euro were stollen from our card. We blocked the card the same day on Sunday in online. And next day called Sparkasse service. Service person told us that if transfer wasn't initiated by us - we can get Erstattung. We went to Italy Police Station which was really horrible experience - they didn't speak English and German, gave them full info about the Man who stole our money. Police created protocol and we provided all the documents to Sparkasse. But surprisingly Sparkasse refused to return the money to us! Without explaining any reason. So questions are: why we wasted 2 days of our vacation in Police Station? Why Sparkasse refused to return the money if transfer wasn't initiated by us? What is going on with Sparkasse service??? I was client of this Sparkasse 20 years, now will have to go to the Lawyer. And finally will have to switch the bank. Just unbelievable!
