Avoid avoid avoid. Awful experience in terms of communication and set up. So quick to take payments off you for inductions etc, which then take weeks and weeks to arrange. And then they start the direct debit for tutor sessions which you haven’t received. We’re currently in month two of payment for tutor sessions and we haven’t had even one proper session yet as the tutors we get “aligned” with then get removed off the (awful, non user friendly) Slack chat before even the first session has happened, and with no explanation. I’m being pushed to “bank” the sessions. I don’t want that ! I want them to start asap and I don’t want to be charged for sessions that we haven’t had - it’s not complicated? Meanwhilst I see Sparks doing loads of ads on Insta. Super super frustrating when then clearly can’t service the business they have ? Would not recommend them. Paid induction fees in January. Now March and we still don’t have an English tutor lined up but payments have been taken for Feb and March. Comms with Spark is AWFUL via the Slack app they make you use. Takes days to get even a holding response.
